Compassionate cruelty
Some think faith a fairy tale,
an escape from the truth of the starkness of life,
padding,
protecting one from reality,
when in fact the opposite is true.
The infinite is a fearful thought,
something without end or beginning,
bottomless,
some believe that love is its revelation.
Human love can cause some to tremble,
for suffering seems to come more deeply,
sharper,
with relationships......
for growth with another,
means death in one way or another
for love or friendship to grow.
Infinite love,
Deeper than the ocean,
hotter and brighter than the sun,
(Really measurements are useless)
experienced as what?
Heartless in its compassionate cruelty
to cleanse all that blocks fruition.
